  • How To Dress For Spiritual Success Pt. 1

    Colossians 3:5-11


    Big Idea: To dress for spiritual success we must cleanse ourselves from the sinfulness of the world and clothe ourselves with the wardrobe of Christ.

    What does it looks like to wake up each day and dress for spiritual success? And are we recognized as Christ followers by our spiritual wardrobe?

  • Part one: Cleanse yourself from the sinfulness of this world.





  • Colossians 3:5-7 (ESV) Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming. 7 In these you too once walked, when you were living in them.




  • Colossians 3:8-10 (ESV) But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.




  • Colossians 3:11 (ESV) Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help in Verde Kids Ministry. We have a variety of volunteer needs to choose from.

FOR AN AT HOME ONLINE KIDS WORSHIP SERVICE EXPERIENCE

We’re partnering with Life Church to provide an age appropriate 30-minute worship service for kids.  We’re partnering with parents to help lead their children to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

STUDENTS

VERDE YOUTH MINISTRY

Arrive at 5:45 pm on Sundays for our Middle & High School Youth Ministry.  Join us for pizza, a BBQ, or even a peanut butter and jelly bar…games, bible study, and small group time! Our youth ministry is from 6:00 – 7:30 pm with hangout time before and afterward.  Get involved with our once-a-month big event (one Friday night a month), summer/winter camp, and mission trips!  See you there!
